LAS VEGAS, March 7, 2006 ¬¬¬– Skinvisible, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SKVI / Website: www.skinvisible.com) announced today that JD Nelson & Associates (Website: www.safe4hours.com), the exclusive North American distributor for its patented antimicrobial hand sanitizer Safe4Hours®, has launched the product into the Canadian restaurant and hospitality industry at the BC Food Service Expo, in Vancouver. See page 28 & 32 at (http://www.bcrfa.com/uploadedFiles/1140637877441-9430.pdf).
In a press release dated May 2, 2005, Skinvisible announced that JD Nelson & Associates had purchased the exclusive North American marketing rights from the licensee Dermal Defense, Inc. for the antimicrobial hand sanitizer. JD Nelson & Associates are presently selling the product through a network of over 100 brokers and distributors in the US. Their customer base includes restaurants, hotels, schools, the healthcare industry as well as the US Military.
“We are very excited to see Safe4Hours® now offered in Canada,” said Mr. Terry Howlett, President of Skinvisible, Inc., the licensor and manufacturer of Safe4Hours®. “The principals of JD Nelson & Associates are very focused in bringing this product to the food industry. They will do very well in Canada.”
Independent studies indicate that Safe4Hours® antimicrobial hand sanitizer product with Invisicare offers significant advantages over alcohol-based sanitizers as it kills food-borne bacteria like salmonella and E-coli on the hands for up to 4 hours per application while resisting both wash-off and perspiration. In comparison, alcohol-based sanitizers provide only temporary protection as the alcohol evaporates following application.
